# Implement Regenie

Hi Hail team,
Regenie is for the gene/region-based burden test and it works on both quantitative and binary traits.
It would be very useful for whole-genome regression modeling. I would be very happy if Regenie could be used in Hail.

We are definitely aware of Regenie and it is something we are looking into adding support for, but don’t have any clear plans / timelines yet.
