PCA - proportion of variance explained

Hi,
I’m having a little trouble understanding my principal componenet.
I want to know the proportion of variance explained by each factor.
There’s a way to see it?
for example, my PC1 eigenvalues is 770664 (not normalized) - I want to know what variants it contains?

Thanks,
Shiri

Hello,

I have the same question. I have looked a bit but can’t find any easy answer to that. Apart from calculating all the PCs (which I assume defeats the purpose of using the optimized PCA function in the first place) and hence getting all the eigenvalues.
A screeplot is easy enough to make, but also does not show the whole picture.

thanks,
thomas
