I am considering the most efficient way to process a large VDS file. Is there a difference between split_multi on a VDS file versus a VDS file converted to a matrix_table and then applying split_multi_hts? Is split_multi_hts required for an MT produced from VDS, or can extra formatting already be assumed to be completed?
