First, let me note that this will not affect anyone’s current Hail use strategy - we have not changed the per-commit deployment to Google Cloud, so cloudtools will continue to work as before.
From now on, we plan to make a weekly tagged version, which:
- will have a list of user-facing changes posted both to a changelog on the website and to a thread here.
- will be deployed to PyPI for local installation with
pip install hail. - will be tagged on GitHub.
