I’m the new Hail team Engineering Manager, and I’m hoping to improve our resources around estimating compute costs.
I’d love to hear about anyone’s experience doing anything related to estimating compute costs when running Hail. If you have a process you love - amazing! If you’ve tried things that didn’t work - I’d also love to hear! My hope is that I can gather enough background info to write a “guide to cost estimation on Hail” - or possibly even build a calculator tool
